Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Registered Psychotherapist specializing in Integrative Psychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Care, and Safe and Sound Protocol.

I help you develop strategies you can use in your day-to-day life to cope with stress, build resilience, improve relationships, and heal from the debilitating effects of mental health symptoms, stress and trauma. By customizing therapy to your specific needs and utilizing brain-based and evidence-based integrative psychotherapy modalities and technology, I can support you in creating a life that’s focused on healing to help you thrive. I help people understand that their thoughts, emotions and behaviours are more affected by whether or not they are feeling at ease or stressed. When people realize this, they don't have to take their thoughts as seriously, and can use strategies to manage their overwhelm and triggers, and come back to a place of empowered calm, where emotions are less intense, allowing them to think more clearly.
